A nice craft amber ale from Portugal, I had it from the bottle in a nice little bar in the heart of Porto. Very malt forward but some hop presence is noted

Poured into a tulip glass.
A: Opaque copper colored body with a small white head with lots of lacing and mid retention.
S: The aroma was filled with hints of honey and some kind of undisclosed hops. Smelling good.
T: The taste was sweet due to the honey accent, with some resinous tones normally present only in IPAs and some end looking towards the hop flavor.
M: Mouthfeel-wise, Red Mosquito had mild bitterness led by some medium to higher-than-normal IBU which makes think that this is an AAA with extra hops.
O: Overall, I was actually expecting better from this beer. Probably set my expectations to high because it's not, indeed, a bad beer. Actually it's more the opposite. I'd try to change the appearance and try to give it more structure in the taste since there's too many wide flavors. Consistent is the word I'm looking for.
