Nice, laid-back and friendly little place. Not much of a crowd. Then again it's Tuesday. Good service. Good beer.

My wife and I stopped here with another couple to try their beers. We did not realize that there is a limited menu food service, but we had lunch planned at our next stop anyway. The interior vibe is somewhat modern in design which I typically don't like, but it works here. An overhead door opens to a small patio at the front of the building. Service involved ordering at the bar.
Twelve beers were available, and we chose a sampler flight with 5 glasses so that we could try a representative sampling of them. (Some bottles are also available to go.) Although the beer styles vary from standard American and English beers to French and Belgian farmhouse ales, it tasted like a Belgian yeast was used in everything, but that's not a bad thing. For the American and English styles, it just makes for a more difficult evaluation without many similar beers in our tasting experience for comparison purposes. However, all were brewed very well and were tasty. We liked the American Barleywine the best, and gave an overall 4.0 score to the beers.
The food availability that was mentioned above is a limited menu that can be viewed on their website, but 4 sandwiches and 6-8 apps are pretty much the extent of the offerings. Limited spirits and wine were noted behind the bar for those who are not beer drinkers. Growlers and howlers are available to go in addition to the limited bottled offerings.
We enjoyed the beers here, and we'd like to make a return visit to try more of their beers if we are ever in the neighborhood again. This place is very worthy of a visit.

Really nice spot, outside of Columbus. I like sour and farmhouse styles and they do these pretty well. I'm not sure why they keep changing their name, but the beer has remained the same. They have started to get more and more stuff in cans and bottles, so I'm sure I'll get to try more and more of their pretty tasty brews.
