on draft, 10 oz glass
listed as an Adambier, which I am only familiar with from the Hair of the Dog beer.
dark brown in color. aroma is of dark malts and plum, raisin, some herbal, a touch of smoke. not too sweet nor dry. similar to a doppelbock or dubbel, but a little more earthy component. medium bodied.

Brewery Techne "Brother's Keeper"
on tap at Bar Hygge on 10 Sept 2016
$6 for 13 oz.
I wasn't sure of what to call this beer... what style is it? It's like an old ale, but it's not quite... and it's like a dark Belgian but it's not really "Belgian". That's the great thing about Brewery Techne/Bar Hygge though, they're not just doing what everyone else does, they're forging forward with new beers although they might be related to existing styles.
Notes: Dark mahogany body beneath a creamy head of tan. Aromas of dark skinned fruit, spice, and brown sugar. The flavor delivers chocolate, sugar, spice, and soft dark skinned fruits (mainly raisin). Modestly bitter, it's sweet upfront but then spicy in the drying finish.
