330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Mildly hazed golden yellow color, it tops with a finger of white foamy head that pops up and quickly dissipates to some bubble sheet with limited trail of lace left.
There is rich presence of German fruity yeast in the aroma with notes of bubblegum, overripe banana, citrus, as well as clove spice. Malt is also solid with its sweet toffee yet butter bread and banana bread.
Fruity yeast leads through the palate with its bubblegum, overripe banana, citrus, and clove spice while malt acts as a base of the flavor structure with its sweet bread, toffee sugar, butter and banana bread too.
Medium body with some bold touch through the palate, mild to moderate carbonation with some crisp to carry all the things quite well under the smooth mouthfeel, finish is dry.
Lots of German fruity yeast character, it is like Weizenbock rather than Doppelbock, pretty good one. Alcohol is well hidden.
