For some odd reason this review was moved to RJ Rockers Brown Eyed Squirrel.
My original Review was dated 02.Mar.2010, as below:
A half inch of fine to rocky head sits atop a clear chestnut brown beer with red highlights and lots of carbonation. After a short appearance, the head drops, leaving little to no lacing.
This is a sweet malty beer with some toffee and toasted nuts.
The roasted malts are much more prominent than suggested by the nose, with nuts in the background. Wheat bread and some bitterness come out just before a lingering finish. This one is well balanced, and a fine beer, but rather one dimensional.
From a pint glass, this is a light to medium bodied ale, with little alcohol detected and modest carbonation. Ultimately it is dry and pleasant.
Bald Eagle Brown fits nicely with the style, and is unassuming. I wish it were more memorable, but still, it is very easy going down, and one could make a long afternoon with this and friends, perhaps while playing pick-up football.

01/09/13 On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Not your Mama's brown ale, but noteworthy, nonetheless. Lots of chocolate. Not so much infused as right in the mix. No extraneous sweetness, just a nice balanced amount. I could & will be drinking this again.
