Based on a traditional German style wheat beer. Slightly sour, slightly salty, with hints of pineapple. Extremely refreshing!

Cloudy orange color in appearance with a thin off-white head. Aroma has notes of wheat and a mild salinity with a kind of odd pineapple aroma - it’s pretty muted and smells like the pineapple juice you get after draining a can of diced pineapple.
Taste is tangy and tart with some wheat notes and a mild salinity. The pineapple is there but a bit odd tasting. Feel is really fizzy almost harsh carbonation.
Overall a solid beer - I think I’d enjoy it more if there was a more prominent pineapple character.

Had it again five years after my initial rating, now reviewing. Great color, healthy head. Zesty citrus notes on the smell. Taste has plenty of pineapple tartness, but it’s not salty enough for a Gose for me. Medium bodied, slightly dry finish. Good, but could be much better. Raised rating up to 4 from 3.98.

Taste: Fruit notes of pineapple, and grapefruit. Floral and some sour notes but kinda mild. Tart and airy in the finish. Nose is fruity. Pale honey color, very opaque and unfiltered in appearance, with a very delicate lattice to lace on glass. This Gose is not overwhelming in it's tartness.
