22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had 10/6/17.
Pours dark, opaque, a little oily looking, with not much of a head and a little spotty lacing. Aromas of bourbon, oak, raisins, some malt and chocolate, light molasses. The taste is similar- bourbon, light roast malt, oak, raisins, vanilla, chocolate, light caramel. Smooth, a good but lighter body for the style, appropriately carbonated.
Pretty straightforward, and fairly bourbon forward, but well balanced. Very enjoyable.

Taste: Snappy spice, alcohol bite, big bourbon notes, rich, semi sweet, molasses. Oak barrel and malty, bourbon nose. Black, opaque, smaller head with delicate lace. Full but by no means a heavy body. Imperial porters then to be an easier drink then the stouts. 49 IBUs.
