16oz can, shared with my dad
thanks to Anthony for the can!
L: hazy burnt-orange body; foamy tan head
S: malty toasted grain, bread crust, spicy & earthy hops
T: toasted grain, caramel, bread crust; very earthy bitterness with some notes of spicy and herbal hops; flavors don’t meld well at all
F: medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter finish
O: disappointing; drinks more like an ESB than a Märzen

Taste: crisp spiced at first then, mellow malt notes, hint of sweet, fruit airy finish. Malty mild nose. Copper color hue, clear for most part, delicate head and lace. 20 IBUs

Brownish-orange body with a thin, wispy head. Caramel and toasted grain aroma. Malty and slightly estery flavor; some caramel notes and very faint suggestion of brown sugar and nuts. Medium bodied; slick and oily; rather flat; mostly sweet finish.
A rather pedestrian oktoberfest, uninspired but delivering some roasted lager elements.
