Served in an official DAZ shaker, it pours hazy, opaque orange with a big 1-2 inches frothy head that persists all throughout the drink. One of the best head retentions I've seen. Good lacing.
The smell is so assertive that it is easily perceived right at the time when you open the bottle. Pungent, herbs, fruity sweetness, citric, piney, notes of caramel. The perfect hoppy profile in an absolute rapture of your olfactory sense.
The taste follows the nose, the hoppy flavors invade every hidden corner of your mouth. It also adds up a malty sweetness that balances the characteristic bitterness very nicely, although the aforementioned bitterness prevails, evidently. Just a little bit alcoholic right at the finish. Medium to light body. Very refreshing.
Overall, awesome. I'm sure I got a super-fresh bottle since the hoppy profile was so overwhelming both in the nose and taste.
