Pours that dull golden color with a thinner head than the previous kettle sour (beachfront) clocking in at around the 1/4" mark. Aroma of feint sourness, lemon, nothing in terms of complexity beyond that cheap thrill.
The sourness was above average for a kettle sour. But there was also some sweetness, something tropical, but less colorful than a1a, beachfront avenue. Hint of salt but not gose-y. Carbonation seemed on point. As you continue to drink it, the mouth feel tempers the initial sourness and it falls back into average sourness territory. There didn't seem to be too much to distinguish this from beachfront, other than the color difference. For me there was just a little too much fruit juiciness to it over the base beer, would prefer less sweetness. Still enjoyable at the end of the day.
