Pours a golden color, decent clarity for something with fruit additions, 1/3" white head, firm. Aroma of hops, usual Citra banger comes out, a little bit of tropical fruit forward.
Taste is a cool mix of the Centennial hop for bittering providing a nice traditional west coast bitter effect, but plenty of flavor from the very minor amounts (and therefore appropriate, as I don't like 99% of fruited ipas) of tropical fruit (guava, coconut and something else). So while it isn't as dry as a traditional west coast ipa, it also isn't as bitter bc of the fruit. This might be the best fruited ipa, and that is bc it is prolly the lightest fruit addition of any of the fruited ipas I've tried.
It hid the alcohol well, this, like all their other beers was properly carbonated. Good stuff.
