Sweet tropical hoppy, hint of citrus, and piney, Nelson-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy, grapefruit citrus, and piney bitter finish. This is clean, balanced and tasty. I am having this about a month out from canning date and it is smooth and hides the ABV well. This is great!

1st review of this beer on BA. Consumed at the dipa festival on February 8, 2020, this was one of the few triple ipas I had that day.
Pours yellow. Thin 1/4" white head. Good clarity. Aroma was mostly a muddled Mosaic tri, combined with Idaho 7 hops which I thought kind of weighed down the aroma, but they came back up later on to elevate the beer. I dunno why they call it a late maturing aroma hop, every beer I've had it in relies on something like Mosaic to carry water.
The taste was better, you had more of the Simcoe like bitterness than the purported story about Idaho 7 being all tropical. The mouth feel was amazing with its scant malt body and amazing bitter and drying effect. Hint of pine to it, very complimentary to the dank guava notes in the aroma. This actually became one of my favorite Idaho 7 beers, it does pair well with Mosaic, I think both have a firm enough bitterness and alpha acid to be utilized as a complimentary taste/aroma one two punch. Would recommend you check this one out. Flatland is one of the most underrated breweries in the Sac area, and about the best one to the south.
