Pours a dark golden yellow, the most familiar of all beer colors with a second tier level of clarity to it. Makes about 2/5" white head, good retention. The aroma, i dunno if its the impression of the label design on me, but it does smell forest-esque, usual pine reference at this point. While there are claims of Nelson and Mosaic hops in this one, I think the pinecone addition and Idaho 7 are stronger influences here. Trees first, then a very light dankness addition in the nose. 90/10 split.
Taste is nice, can't say the taste experience was much different than the nose. The pine is pushed in a way that screams Centennial and Chinook even though neither is in this beer. Idaho 7 and pinecones dominate here in that previously alluded to 90/10 split with the dankier hops. The end result is still pretty good. Works well with its abv level at still being plenty crushable. They lasted a good amount too, I remember the last of the four pack coming in at over 100 days old and was still plenty good when we went shooting.

Super solid WCIPA with heavy pine profile. Love the nose, damn near feels like I'm in a conifer forest if I close my eyes. I'll definitely happily grab this again!
