“Year 8” Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout (14.1%) with Ugandan Vanilla, Coconut and Mostra Coffee.
First, it was aged 18 months in choice bourbon barrels, and blended supebly. We then conditioned it on 2 lbs. per barrel of Ugandan Vanilla, layered in loads of toasted and raw Coconut and finished it with “Ghost Bear” Mostra Coffee.

Sweet milk chocolate, creamy coconut, a hint of coffee, vanilla, and a balanced bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a smooth and viscous, milk chocolate and a vanilla-coconut bourbon barrel finish. Wow! An absolutely wonderful pastry stout! The only thing I am missing is just a touch more coffee on the backend. This is outstanding!
