Bourbon Barrel Aged Dessertarian - An imperial pastry stout with Ugandan vanilla, macadamia nuts and white chocolate.
Stout • Barrel • Confection • Once out the barrel, it was blended several days with Ugandan Vanilla, freshly toasted Macadamia Nuts and White Chocolate. The end result is a sophisticated infusion of a Stout, Barrel and Confection. It’s deliciously smooth, with aroma and flavor of white chocolate covered macadamia nuts throughout, mingling with vanilla bean and undertones of bourbon barrel.

Sweet milk/white chocolate, prominent nutty macadamia nuts, a hint of vanilla, and a balanced bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with that sweet vanilla and white chocolate upfront...and then a huge macadamia nutty, bourbon barrel finish. Delicious! As it warms, the macadamia nut addition starts to dominate...and that is a good thing! I think if this was a little more viscous on the palate, it would have done an even better job of accentuating the fantastic white chocolate and vanilla additions here. This is really well done!
