Served in a pint, it pours a black that clarifies as it gets closer to the rim of the glass, with a nice finger of dark brown head with decent retention.
In the nose, primarily roasted malts come through, and hints of coffee and chocolate.
The taste follows the nose. High carbonation, you can taste coffee and roasted malts, and as undertones it gives chocolate, slight hint of vanilla. Semi-dry. The finish is long, bitter, and it has hints of smoke. Creamy mouthfeel.
The carbonation was a bit high.
