A: Murky, golden honey in color with a thin white head that dissipates fairly quickly.
S: Freshly squeezed grapefruit, pineapple, mango and peach. Has a very tropical fruity aroma overall.
T: Similar to the nose. Tropical bright sticky hops with a grapefruit pith taste that illuminates the beer.
M: Crisp, slightly bitter and hoppy finish that instantly makes you yearn for another sip. Easy to drink.
O: I've heard many good things about this beer and the reviews don't lie! This is a darn good beer and it's defintely something you must try at least once!!

Seriously good brew and only a mile from my house. Nice and cloudy with great color. This easily one of the best DIPA's I've had in a long time. Making it just another great Vermont IPA

Growler filled 5/18/16, consumed 5/20/16
A: Tangerine-honey with some golden orange at its core - hazy, but surprisingly less hazy than the typical hoppy beer from River Roost (Mark, the brewer, mentioned as he filled my growler that he was hoping it would be hazier, which says a lot) - pours with a medium size, off-white head, fades to a wispy cap, retains a small collar and leaves spots of lacing
S: Dank and juicy - juicy citrus, with some orange and ruby red grapefruit, but also very floral, flowery - dank, resinous herbs - decidedly green and leafy - peach and fleshy tropical fruits, but mostly a white grape-like aroma - reminicent of Nelson (probably Nelson or something from New Zealand) - light sweetness and some soft, pale malts
T: Very hoppy, remarkably low bitterness - juicy citrus, with some tangerine, orange, and ruby red grapefruit flesh - some citrus zest - dank, resinous, herbal hops are center stage - flowery, leafy hops as well - some mango, peach, and tropical flavors - lots of white grape - low bitterness - light sweetness with some pale malts, light bread - some alcohol heat
M: Medium body, smooth and a touch chewy, low carbonation, touch of alcohol, soft mouthfeel overall
O: Unbound makes a bound
I hate making a "x tastes like y" kind of comparison, but I am going to do it anyway: Unbound reminds me of Fiddlehead's Second Fiddle. And I mean this as a solid compliment. I'm consistently impressed by River Roost, and this beer just sets the bar even higher. No pressure or anything...
