2nd review.
Must see in White River: this brewer, Northern Stage, TuckerBox Turkish Restaurant, and OnTrack co working.
a) Thin, orange juice blended haze body, spouting wide bubbled thinnish head.
s/t) Typical orange juice blend NE IPA. Big bright citrus hop aromas and then flavors of orange juice first, then lemon, grapefruit, orange rind. I find this too acidic to match the tomato laden dishes at Tuckerbox which is a superb Turkish restaurant with first-rate staff. I'd prefer sours and maltier beers to complement.
f) thin and acidic vs the best IPAs.
o) I tire of the knee-jerk citric bombs of the NE.

Poured from tap into a mason style jar glass at Big Fatty's BBQ across the parking lot from the brewery.
A bit hazy, but less so than most of River Roosts hoppy offerings. Golden color, foamy, thick white head. Head settles slowly and leaves lacing on the glass.
The aroma is bright and hoppy. Citrus, zest, a bit of resinous earth,
Bright citrus hop flavor. Lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, rind, and a bit of juice. Not a juice bomb though. Balanced and true to its IPA name.
The beer is crisp and clean with moderate carbonation and a medium body.
A good beer overall. A bit subtle in aroma and flavor compared to many New England IPA's but definitely an easy beer to drink and be happy.
