Growler share. Poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-milky pale copper/yellow color with a finger’s worth of sustaining white foamy head. Lingering messy lace. The aroma shaped some citrus pulp to sweet kiwi/mango/grassy fresh hoppy tones. Light bitter citrus rind ever so slightly. The flavor was pure bittersweet through the blend of the prior notes, full and worthy enough to pop enough of it in the aftertaste to follow into the finish. The feel came close to medium bodied with a good sturdy carbonation bracing the projected ABV pretty nicely. Overall, this one really smells, tastes and feels like the lupulin powder was used absolutely correct.

From a 750ml growler, filled about five hours ago. Served in a River Roost-branded spiegelau because proper glassware, right?

Pours a super-hazed sunshiney yellow-gold with an enormous poufy-soft head of suds. Retention is very good leaving a thick wall of persistent lacing.

I don't know how much of it is power of suggestion, but the word 'melon' will be used several times in this review. Smells of orange juice, peaches and melons, cookies, white grapes and perfume.

Taste is sweet and flowery at the start, then juicy, again with the orange juice, melons and white grape, with a soft, doughy malt body. Low bitterness, earthy, grassy, finishing on a slightly peppery fusel note and a sticky-peach/tacky-overripe-melon aftertaste.

Feel is smooth and slick, a little thin bodied, decently carbonated, and a bit boozy in the gullet.

Overall, a pretty good NEDIPA. The earth didn't exactly move for me but I definitely enjoyed it well and I drank every last drop. I'm looking forward to trying many more brews from River Roost.
