Growler share.
I poured my portion in a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange/copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that swiftly glided off to leave some light lace running around the glass.
The aroma had a nice blend of peach, mango, some dank, light pine/somewhat like balsam and then fusing in a little bit of onion.
The flavor was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Good sturdy carbonation, not distracting. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, another nice DIPA by River Roost, well worth my time and money.

Poured from 64oz growler into tulip glass. Pours a nice deep orange color, fairly hazy, but not as hazy as a NE-Style IIPA. Thin head with tiny bubbly lacing. Smells of dank hops, sweet malt backbone fill my nose. The taste just explodes, compared to a bit of a muted nose. Tastes of tropical fruits, pineapple, a hint of mango, and a smaller hint of citrus. All followed by a really nice malt backbone. Wow. Amazing beer. Definitely stopping by this gem of a brewery on all Vermont trips moving forward. Don't skip on BT's BBQ across the parking lot!

From a 750ml growler, filled at the brewery a couple of hours ago. Served in a tulip.
Pours a thoroughly opaque, massively murky, dull orange with a finger of fluffy, ivory foam. Retention is so-so, leaving a moderate tracery of lacing.
Nose is doughy and yeasty, with peaches, lemon peel and balsam.
Taste is densely doughy with a ton of mashed up fruits. Orange, overripe cantaloupe, lemon, mango, grapefruit, guava, peach, and probably a dozen more I didn't come up with, followed by a little balsam and bitter herb. Weedy and dank, minimally bitter but still finishes with some palate-coating hop oiliness.
Feel is smooth and mouthcoating, medium-thick and well enough carbonated to keep the body light, with a long, gentle boozy burn in the gullet.
Overall, yet another spectacular thick and juicy NEDIPA, right up there with the very best of them. I see myself spending a lot of time at River Roost this summer.
