Growler share.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a murky rust to copper color with a finger's worth of sustaining white foamy head. Softly dissipated to leave some sly ringy lace.
The aroma smattered some sweet grass to melon and berries and then colliding with a little bit of green peppers.
The flavor yielded to the prior aromas sweetly and then pulling in just a super light touch of those green peppers. Nicely done sweet green peppery sort of melon and berry aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt appropriate. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Nice transition of the berries, melon and green peppers in the finish.
Overall, extremely well done American Pale ale brewed in this so called "New England pale ale" quality. Of course, I'd have this again, but do have to admit for once, there's so much going on that I honestly can't see a food to actually pair with this APA.
