On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a very thick milkshakey-looking orange, with a fluffy solid head, and a good bit of lacing.
This one smells a little weird at the outset- *almost* like feet (lol)- but the aroma is mostly incredible- candied tangerine that's so unbelievably pungent, floral tea, mango, and just loads and loads more of citrus goodness.
This is rather delightful- these guys are already doing really killer stuff, clearly. This has such a juicy sweetness, candied in a great way. It's really like hop candy, with tangerine, mango, and papaya greatness. There's no real malt character.
This has a soft and delicate mouthfeel, with a great drinkability. You just want to finish the glass so quickly.
River Roost is a young brewery to watch very closely.
