Sample at the source.
Inky black in color with a smattering of tan bubbles that dissipate quite quickly. Roasty chocolate and coffee with a hint of brown sugary maltiness. Light spicy peppery roast. Nice beer.

Extremely enjoyable coffee stout. Not too sweet like come lactose stouts can be. Great coffee taste and mouth feel

Had on tap. Two toned brown and black body with some pleasing graininess, a white head, and a web's worth of lacing. Lots of coffee and fudgey dark chocolate, with roasted malt and soil aromas too. Taste is robust and sweet simultaneously, with dark roast coffee, vanilla, and brownie batter chocolate melding together like a rich espresso dessert. Good base of roasted malt, soil and leather to balance. Thick, creamy, roasty, and earthy, very nice feel.

Doc Ponds draft pour yielded a 1/2 inch creamy off-white head over a dark brown body with nice lacing. Nose of coffee and some chocolate. Taste mirrors nose with the coffee coming off superbly. Damn tasty stuff! Nice feel and overall, a winner from White River Junction. Cheers!
