16 ounce can with no discernible date, although we just rec'd it two days ago.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 5/4 inch tan head over a black body with lacing.
Nose of roasted malt, chocolate, and just a tad pear and pine!
Taste is slightly roasty chocolate with a finish of a bit of pine bitterness; just a bit strange and I can't quite figure it out.
Good mouthfeel with near medium carbonation.
Overall, I was hoping for an improvement on the regular, non dry hopped version, but this didn't do it. Still a good beer though, but the Rakau and Chinook dry hopping fell short of my expectations.
Cheers!
