A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy golden-yellow with a small whitish head on top.
S: Good strong nose of Nelson hops: white grapes, some tropical fruit, and green, leafy (and raw) hops.
T: Follows the nose, with white grapes, some sweet citrus (orange marmalade comes to mind), and sweeter tropical fruit (thinking papaya, ripe melon). That 8% ABV is not at all evident.
M: Definitely juicy in feel. A little bit flat or lacking in carbonation, however.
O: Solid. An easy drinker for a DIPA. I'm generally not a big fan of Nelson Sauvin hops, but I'm liking this one.

On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grassy hops, white grape, lychee, passionfruit, lime, and lemony hops.
This is another great expression of Nelson hops - there's a pleasant bitterness here, with an exotic and spicy while juicy hop character, with all of the fruitiness mentioned above.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable, with no booziness to it.
River Roost continues to be sneakily one of the most impressive breweries in Vermont.
