16 ounce can with no discernible date, but we rec'd a couple cases eleven days ago.
Vigorous pour yields a 1.75 inch white head over a nearly cloudy light golden body with very sticky lacing.
Nose of much tropical fruit, some lemon/lime, with a hint of strawberry.
Taste closely follows the nose with flavors of mango, peach, and slight strawberry.
Grapefruit comes later, just before and at the finish.
Mouthfeel is good and fairly full with medium carbonation.
Overall, another nice stab at a DIPA from White River Jct., Vermont.
Cheers!

On tap at The Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like candied melon – like kind of like sun kissed melon that has a lot of sugar sprinkled all over it. There’s also tangerine, grapefruit, and dried apricot.
This has a wonderfully soft and juicy flavor, but the hop character leans a little too heavy into sweetness – it’s a little bit thick and heavy, without any supportive bitterness to help balance this thing out. I usually like River Roost a bit more than this.
This is pretty thick and creamy, too much so, with a decent enough drinkability.
I didn’t hate this, but it’s not up to the usual standards of this underrated hop factory in Vermont.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a very attractive hazy orange yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves nice thin streaks of lace, with solid retention. 4.25
Aroma is cantaloupe, mandarin, passionfruit, mango, and apricot. 4
Taste follows ripe melon, mandarin, passionfruit, mango, and apricot well balanced. 4
Mouthfeel is above average, gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8% plenty of flavor and easy going down. 4.25
Overall this is good, nothing dazzling, but very little to complain about. I recommend for sure. 4
