Can into Nonic Pint
Look: Hazy dark golden body, pouring a frothy, off white, 1 finger head which slowly dissipated into a thin cap. Had some sediment at the bottom of the can
Smell: Piney hops, honey, lemon zest, nice bready malt, touch of sour yeast funk. Medium strength nose
Taste: Bready malt with pine hops, light bitterness. Citrusy and a touch of honey sweetness at the end. Finish has a touch of herbaceous hops, pepper and dankness, and lingering malt and citrus.
Feel: Light-Medium body, moderate carbonation, semi-crisp with a mellow finish
Overall: Overall good brew, interesting mouthfeel changes throughout

A bit hazy. Bitterness is moderate but lingers on the palate. Poured into a pub glass at the iconic State Treet Saloon. Hard to top this. I liked it.

New brewery to my collection
Reviewed on 2/27/21
Only a slight, murky haze inside a burnt golden color. Substantial white foam cap holds on tight with lace after-party.
Golden, effervescent grainy malt aroma first. Then it's a sour tinged pine tree sap, boozy citrus and a mix of old spices.
A very, crisp beginning that quickly turns very, very smooth, watery and then spicy in the mouthfeel. All encompassing for sure, odd and interesting to the palate and feels.
Straight piney hops with a fat abundance of burnt golden grainy malted things. Fire from the fields with pine and citrus hop cones within.
A piney, resinous and malty little devil.

This smelt very faintly of pine, had a thick malty taste which hinders the crispness of this beer, also as a slight taste of raisins. Not a great IPA but not a bad one.

Clear golden color, not a large head or lace. Very nice fruity hop aroma. Taste: mild bitterness, floral and citrus hops with a slight sweetness (but not too much). A hint of honey aftertaste. Very nice!

Hot damn what a great beer.
Looks - nice and hazy with a slight golden hue maybe carapils 40L
Taste - delicious notes of maybe Simcoe Amarillo and maybe some Citra. Had two on 2/25 and took a growler to go.
What a great beer from an awesome brewery. Definitely will be back, 100% recommended.

poured from tap at brew pub on 2/2/17 (also had growler 2 days later)
Slightly hazy orange color with a 2 finger fluffy white head that deflates quickly.
Moderate grassy sweet citrus aroma. Very appealing to me.
It has a hop-forward flavor that matches the aroma. This sits atop a caramel malt that comes through in the flavor strong enough to balance out the hops. Well done IMO. It is more a standard english IPA i think more than American.
Mouth feel is tangy with carbonation - a plus for me - along with a medium maltiness with some stickiness.
Overall this is a great take on the American IPA with enough zing and bitterness to fall on the IPA side of this category. I took a 32 home despite having a fridge packed with awesome beers, so that's an endorsement alone.
