From a 16 oz. can that was sampled October 15, 2021.
Agreeable medium amber pour with yellow highlights and a massive, fluffy off-white head that fades away.
Caramel and toffee malts are all over the nose with a hint of apple, biscuit and an earthy hop profile.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet and malty all around nd maybe a slight burnt character. Easy to quaff.

Poured on draft at the brewery.
Pours a mostly clear copper color with a finger of off-white head. The head leaves a ring of lacing as it settles into a thin ring.
The aroma brings lots of toasted bready malts and caramel, as well as some faint brown sugar and hops.
The flavor follows the nose: Lots of caramel and bready malts followed by some bitter hops.
The feel is medium-light bodied with good carbonation. Crisp and smooth and nicely drinkable.
Overall, this is pretty much the definition of "standard" for the style, but the style is great and even a standard version of it is solid and worth drinking. Perhaps a tad too hoppy, but otherwise nicely done.
