Can into Nucleated Pilsner
Look: Beautiful, cloudy, pale yellow, pouring just shy of a half finger of creamy white head slowly dissipated
Smell: Bright lemon zest, bready malt, and some German wheat beer yeast, maybe some clove. Some fresh, grassy, floral hops too. Medium strength nose
Taste: Follows the nose to a T. Bright, with lemon zest and grassy floral hops, carrying in a very light bitterness. Bready malt with a touch a sweetness, though its more of a back ground note. Some yeast mingles in there too. Finish carries that lemon and malt
Feel: Medium body, smooth texture, moderate carbonation, somewhat dry finish
Overall: I love this pils. Easy sipper, and very light and tasty. It is a bit different from the typical pilsner in this category, but thats what makes it so interesting

Impressive 3+ finger head. Looks snow white. As it recedes slowly, the fine foamy bubbles merge into larger ones creating a lumpy surface. Surprisingly, there are only a couple of spots left on the glass as I consume the beer. The liquid is a bit hazy with straw color.
The smell is mostly raw barley grain and mildly sour. The hop is nearly nonexistent to the nose.
Smooth body which is richer than most Pilsners. The carbonation is also muted. The taste is a step up from the smell with very little graininess showing up. It still has a subtle sourness, though. The bittering hop is definitely present in the swallow leading to a decently balanced lager.

my first from these guys, courtesy of my brother. an interesting take on the style, quite hoppy as they go, with a relatively distinctive fermentation profile too, modern and well made, a little odd in a beer i was expecting to be a little bit more traditional, but its quite tasty and drinkable. pretty blonde color, close to clear, frothy white headed, and super pale. the nose on this is limey, maybe faintly astringent, almost a thiol thing with the yeast, but european to me on the grain side, crackery and dry, fresh and earthen, simple in a good way, with a clean water profile and more early and up front hops than most of these have, green melon and its rind, white grape, and clover to me, unique. the flavor is a little estery up front, not sure about the yeast, either its not quite right and stressed in here, or they are trying for something thats not entirely a success, but it doesnt seem old worldy or quite proper for the style. it lacks crispness i want in the style, but this is light and easy even without that. white floral character when its cold, a little over the top as it warms. the hops interact interestingly with it too, juicy and sort of beyond the norm for a pils like this, but its summery and fresh and i dont dislike it. hints of green pear, green olive, and zested lemon, lightly oily on the palate too, but a pleasant aftertaste and its dry overall, noble bitterness is there as well. this is refreshing, intriguing, and raises more questions than it answers, unexpected but good, i will look forward to more of their beers in the future, this has my interest up...

Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my .5 L dimple mug. Picked up in a shop in VT about 10 weeks ago and has been in my fridge since. No date stamp on the can.
the beer pours a light clear straw yellow color with a fizzy bleached white head of 2 cm. This foam fades to a sturdy surface layer and several active streams of carbonation rise to the surface.
Aroma is a little grainy and crackery malt and some spicy to grassy hop notes. Nice nose, not complex and certainly on point for a pils.
First sip reveals a light and crisp body with fine and generally tingly but soft carbonation. Seems a weird feeling, but its physically nice on my palate.
Flavor is similar to the nose with some biscuity and crackery malt notes. These give way to a bit of a grassy and spicy hop note and then I get a little hit of lemon on the finish. Every sip. The beer finishes very dry. Pretty good pils, nothing earth shattering, but I dont think flawed either.

Can from the Packie.
Lightly hazy deep straw with a bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Bready crackery maltiness, earthy floral hops with hints of green apple and aspirin. About par for Liars Bench.

On tap at The Green Elephant.
Gold color, small white head.
Faint grassy, floral aroma.
Faint grassy and floral taste.
Not a huge hop presence, not very crisp, but I see some potential.
