This is a Polish Chocolate Wheat Beer, made with 74% European Dark Wheat complimented by Pilsner and Dark Chocolate malts, with a low hop character to round it out. Made popular in the 16th century, this is not like any wheat beer you’ve ever had.

Look - 4.5 - Chocolate wheat, not too dark, nor light. Nice 3/4 inch head that dissipated to a smaller layer.
Smell - 3.5 - Couldn't get much.
Taste - 4.25 - Really coifable, perfect Fall beer. Can taste the chocolate, but very subtly. Creamy, wheaty and smooth.
Feel - 4 - Just about right - not too heavy but definitely not light.
Overall - 4.25 - Really nice beer, it's not going to blow anyone away, but do all beers really have to be extreme? This beer was crafted according to a Polish recipe and while I haven't tasted an original (has anyone?), this tastes like what I would imagine. Looking forward to trying more of their beers.
