A beautifully aromatic and balanced milk stout with delicious notes of peanut butter, coffee, and dark chocolate. This dark, mythical beer nods to the long-passed legends of our region’s seafarers. (Does not contain nuts or peanuts)

Poured from tap at a bar, stole a few sips from my boyfriend. Not a big stout guy but this is very light and drinkable. Sweetened cold brew energy. I'm a fan.

Oh my this is a good one. Pours dark with a fantastic fluffy head. Aroma is very unique and amazing. Chocolate and peanut butter. Has a great chocolate flavor. Reminds me of Boulder Brewing nitro Shake. So good. Creamy texture, perfect carbonation. Overall, wow, what a great beer. Wish they had distro in NJ

The pour that emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug was ideal. A proper short-lived head of lovely tan color was produced. The liquid beneath is black coffee brown. An interesting aroma, sweet with roasted malt, milk chocolate and peanut butter emits. All those sensations for the nose are in the taste and in pleasant balance. The amazing peanut butter flavor becomes a distraction. Not in a negative way, because it's tastefully included. But, it's so good, question arises, how did this happen without any nuts being involved in the brewing? Is this accurate artificial flavoring, or some amazing alchemy using just hops, malt and lactose? Nine out of ten moms would swear there's real peanut butter included. Although balanced, just like the real thing, the peanut butter eventually becomes the dominant flavor. Many will have no problem with that. The finish is nicely bittered by the roasted malts. The mouthfeel is a little light, but just right for the tastes it delivers. Maybe its just unexpected that something with peanut butter flavor isn't thick and sticky. There's no glass lacing, but little time between the pour and the conclusion to worry about that. This is a delightful brew and if it was done naturally, an amazing one.

Pours opaque dark brown, with only the faintest hints of color around the limb when held up to the light. Foam is ample and latte colored, dissipating slowly. Smell is roast coffee and peanut butter, with the peanut butter becoming more prominent as it warms. Flavor starts with . The flavor starts with malt and a hint of chocolate and peanut butter, joined quickly by cream. Aftertaste is dominated by the coffee flavor and smooth bitterness of roasted malt. Body is light, for a stout, but fairly creamy from the lactose and a bit of carbonation. Overall, this is a tasty milk stout with a little more complexity than is typical for the style.

Stout - Milk / Sweet

This is an easy drinking, complex, and light bodied feeling Milk stout. Light chocolate, nutty, graham cracker, and cream flavors. The feel, once again, is very light but also creamy. The light and rather watery body lends itself to easy drinking.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a good-sized, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of milk chocolate, toffee, caramel and cream. Sweet chocolate taste with roasted malt and sweet toffee.

This stuff is fantastic. Sweet, creamy, nice lacing and mouth feel. Oddly light and crushable. Wasn't expecting that.

16oz can. Bottom stamp is 'BATCH 394 CANNED ON 02/17/25 11:23'.
Black colored body, with a red mahogany colored back lit edge. One thick finger of tan head. Later this is a minor island and thin ring. Leaves behind a few small spots of lacing.
Aroma of peanut, chocolate, and hints of coffee and vanilla.
Taste follows the nose with flavors of sweet dark roasted malts, peanut, chocolate, and hints of coffee and vanilla. Aftertaste extends all but the chocolate comes to the fore.
Medium mouthfeel. Soft and creamy texture. Bitterness from the coffee but more than balanced by the overall sweetness. Good carbonation.
Sweet and gentle brew, with a good flavor profile.

On nitro draught in a pint glass. A rich dark beer with a nice head initially. The lacing dissipates into a foam ring that lingers for a while.
The nose and initial flavors are of hazelnut, peanut butter, malty and sweetened creamy coffee. There are some buttery and molasses notes as well that dissipate and reveal a little tang and dryness at the end.
