A citrusy and tropical India pale ale with intense notes of orange and mango. Clean, hoppy and finishes dry. Brewed with Belma, Centennial, and Mosaic hops.

Larger, dense white head. It subsides in a rocky fashion starting with a dome. The liquid is nearly clear. Bright gold color.
Creamy and sweet aroma with light tropical fruit. Subsequent whiffs bring forward a hop pellet smell that is dark and muddy.
Full bodied with a muted level of carbonation. It starts with a neutral pale malt flavor that quickly fades with the oncoming hop bitterness. Smooth and balanced. The blend is pleasant and traditional for an APA, making this an easy beer to drink.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset for about fourteen dollars. My eighth brew from these guys. Solid brew.

This beer was the result of a trip up to my early stomping grounds in New London, CANnecticut for a mini-reunion. I was never enamored of the ship or the locale, but it was where I started out & I didn't mind hanging out for a bit. I used the CANportunity to do some beer shopping & came home with a decent score for The CANQuest (tm)!

I was really looking forward to this one, following the previous winner. I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed beautifully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with great retention, leaving nice lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-faintly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) & once again, I was left wondering if it was not the fault of my chilly reefer causing a haze. Hmm. This smelled of full-on orange! 8=O I love oranges! Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, no great shakes. The taste was more orange, orange & more orange! Mango? Not IMHO. No problem. I CAN drink orange AIPA all day, yo! It was not very bitter, but it was extremely citrusy throughout. This made me want orange juice with breakfast. Mmm. Finish was semi-dry, but still quite orange-y. My only bugaboo was that I would have preferred a bit more bitterness. YMMV.

2mos old, so... Mostly hazy golden pour with a skim of foam that persists. Mild tropical fruits on the nose, slight booze which is surprising. Flavors are also subdued but balanced with a bit of citrus joining the tropical notes and a cracker malt balancing. Thin, carbonated, mouthfeel and tastes much lighter than the abv. Finish is quite clean. Okay, and would try again fresh.
