Consumed October 2018 at a Nevada football tailgate. I hadn't had Mast Landing before 2018, and I gotta say I am impressed with the few I've got to check out (this and Gunner's Daughter).
Has a relatively bright hazy orange ipa like appearance, 1/2" dense white head. Aroma went in on the citrus notes, grapefruit and orange, and I dunno what fruit subgenre pears are, but that too.
Taste offered equal parts of the Simcoe bitterness and the El Dorado gets some of the green grassiness and tea like notes in there I think. Totally crushable at 7% and what come off in the mouth feel as around 70 ibu. Takes on a light dimension of honeydew melon and papaya. Carbonation good, not too acidic nor 'green'. Despite its appearance, this doesn't drink like your smoothed out hazy ipas, it still pushes a substantial amount of hops and hefty bitterness, none of which render the beer a negative. Once again, Mast Landing lands a winner.

- this hazy amber can pour has a thin foam cap that dissipates quickly and a whiff of "where's that cat?" Simcoe aroma. The flavor is full with pineapple, grapefruit and a resin note. The mouthfeel is a bit tingly and hop bitterness is moderate. I like this IPA.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose along with hints of pears.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of citrus and pears along with hints of watermelon, the latter of which become stronger as the beer warms up. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the combination of pear and watermelon flavor in the taste of this beer to be very interesting and unique.
Note: The variety of hops used in this rotating hop IPA are stamped on the bottom of the can.

Pours a hazy, vibrant, burnt-orange color with three fingers of off-white head. Thick webbed lacing.
Candied orange, hop dust and a little peppery spice in the nose. Very sweet but with a hint of pine and a little dough beneath. Almost reminds me of baklava.
The taste is likewise very sweet, with honey and orange up front, some weed, curaƧao, clove and a little spicy, piney bitterness for balance.
Full bodied with a certain slick oiliness and good carbonation cutting through.
This is a really drinkable, enjoyable beer. I like the orange and pine mix in the new school packaging.

Picked up a four pack of this at the brewery.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice slightly hazy dark golden orange hue with a two finger creamy white head that fades slowly to leave some thin lacing and a nice creamy blanket.
S - Aromas of herbal tea, grassy hops, little bit of orange and citrus, flashes of pineapple and generic tropical fruits.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Nice citrus juice and peel, grassy and floral hops, flashes of papaya and pineapple. Little bit more tropical notes, some crackery malts. Finish is prominently bitter citrus rinds. As it warms the tropical flavour pops out even more.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, medium bodied
O - Overall this was a rather solid IPA. Really nice flavour profile as the El Dorado and Simcoe really shine here.

This was awesome in my sample, so can't wait to get a full pour. Canned 8/08/16
Pours a decent frothy fizzy foamy 1 finger head that fades at a med pace, decent lacing and retention, very hazy pale golden color
Nose plenty of juicy citrus, some mild tropical notes, faint pineapple with papaya and even a touch of mango, mild stone fruit peachy notes, hint of malt, muted at first but really pops as it warms, more papaya, little guava and citrus rind, mild melon too
Taste is much more dominant, plenty of hops here with loads of juicy citrus and tropical notes, papaya, mango, tangerine, little pineapple, guava, again a bit of peachy stone fruit, hint of melon and honeydew notes, mild pithy, little orange rind, juicy and soft with a bit of a creamy malt and doughy malt wheat notes, drier finish, lingering citrus and tropical fruits, very light bitterness overall
Mouth is med bod but soft creamy juicy, decent fizzy carb
Overall pretty nice, quite nice actually, great hop characters, nice soft creamy mouth, very enjoyable
