A- Tallboy goes into a becher with a slightly hazed deep golden shading towards pale orange body and a thick and creamy crown. The head makes it to an inch high with good retention. Lacing is insane on this brew. Massive blankets of thick lacing coat most of my glass.
S- Fresh and bold hops. Initially cantaloupe, apricot and mango (basically juicy sweet stone fruit with a hint of tropical) comes on strong but further inspection brings papaya, tangerine, orange, dank weed, onion and melon hop notes. Feelin' like it'll be medium sweetness and a hint of grains here. Juicy and bright.
T- The hop parade continues down onto the palate with a bit more influence from the malts here but the fresh and juicy hops still carry the flavor. Juicy, sweet tropical and stone fruit nectar with nectarine, mango, peach and melon leading into very dank weed and onions along with floral and citrus hints. The dank herbal and melon play is great. Medium sweetness with a slight suggestion of cereal and bread.
MF- Creamy and puffy moderately thick APA with a high level of carbonation. Silky and very pleasant on the palate. Ends with a clean herbal bitterness.
For a modern day pale ale this kills it. Tons of juicy hop flavor mostly in the realm of stone and tropical fruits but some key dank herbal hints round it all out. Could drink this all day long. Juicy and crushable.

Bright golden cloudy body with a 2 finger near-white dense cap.
The aroma is pungent with stone fruit, guava and bright citrus pith notes. There's a slight sweetness beyond the typical there too, and it has a "dusty" smell to it - hard to explain but every once in a while I come across it.
The taste is a sweetish tropical-ish flavor up front that is cut with some stone fruit notes. The citrus notes come out more in the finish and linger into the aftertaste. Kind of a mellow but rich flavor, very pleasant.
Low bitterness, soft creamy mouth feel, a moderate amount of seltzer.
This is a solid APA in terms of feel and flavor. I trust Mast Landing to get this right, honestly. I really like this one as far as Portland pales go - I find too many of them to be watery in body, but definitely not this one. Some good crafting went into this and it is well worth trying.
