Poured from a can into a pint class. Beer is hazy straw colored. Thin white head that leaves some good lacing. Nose is fairly faint: citrus and hops. Taste is excellent. Malt up front with a nice refreshing finish of well-balanced, citrusy-bitter hops. Mouthfeel is great. Neither heavy nor light. Super drinkable. An excellent, perhaps even elite, pale ale.

Can into IPA glass
Look: Hazy golden, pouring a thick and fluffy, off white, two finger head which slowly dissipated to a thin cap. Good lacing
Smell: Citrusy and floral. Orange blossoms, Jasmin, lemon zest, biscuity malt, grassy hops. Weak-med nose
Taste: Citrusy orange and lemon and light bready malt with a touch of sweetness. Some grassy hops comes through with the white florals, which fades way to a stronger malt tones here and some earthiness, with a peppery hoppy bite at the end.
Feel: Light-med body, moderate carbonation, near silky mouthfeel. Touch of dryness
Overall: Good juicy citrus ipa. Smooth and easy sipper

Unfortunately, it's the now typical pour that empties entirely the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. There's excessive stark white foam produced that takes up about a third of the vessel's volume. It recedes unevenly, unattractively and annoyingly slowly. The almost murky liquid beneath is apricot-amber, a sight becoming overly familiar with modern American IPAs. The aroma is a muddled blend of starches and mild hops. The taste is a little better. There's a modest hint of pine and citrus in the hopping, in a body that's even more modest. This isn't close to being a standout. It's weak in the looks, smell and mouthfeel categories. It drinks lightly. which serves for its limited, yet pleasant taste. That taste is an almost stand alone clean hop bite that might as well be a hop seltzer. There's nothing to be had in flavor from the presumably oat or oat/wheat based wort. That, the clean and dry hop contribution is the only positive character about this one, unless you prefer an IPA that goes down like water.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours hazy straw color with a puffy head of foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a great deal of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is heaviest of a bready and doughy smell mixed with some notes of yeast and alight caramel. Along with these aromas comes some hop of a herbal and pine nature rounded out by a little bit of grapefruit citrus.
Taste – The taste starts out with a cracker and bready malt flavor paired with a bit of hay and some light grapefruit citrus. While lighter upfront, some herb and pine join in the taste profile, all while the grapefruit fades some. Notes of yeast and grass and a bit of must develop at the end, leaving one with a somewhat drier and rather easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a middle of the road carbonation level. Great for the abv and style, making for a very easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice, somewhat drier, but sorta malty, and not citrus laden pale ale. Rather nice overall.

Thankfully it's not too citrusy, which is a problem I've had with a lot of APAs around these parts. There's a small amount but it's heavily balanced by some herbal, peppery notes and sweet biscuity malt body. Pretty unassuming and would probably go good with anything.

Had a single draft at Black Raspberry Pub in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about eight dollars. My twelfth brew from these guys. Solid, brew, would get again.

Ok, yeah. This is quintessential Hazy PA. Sweet floral and tangie hop aroma. Soft, golden malt spice. Smooth feel with a chonky finish. Three classic hops in this: Simcoe, probably giving that floral sweetness and the two big "C" hops Keeping it grounded

Served cloudy. White-hued, dirty gold color. Small but dense head that leaves a near blanket of lace on the glass.
Light fruitiness that’s like apricots. Faint floral hop background. Smell wise, it’s like a NE IPA.
Higher carbonation but with a fuller body as well. This has a darker and dryer taste than the smell suggests. There’s a stronger bittering element and some earthiness. Moderate length aftertaste. An interesting departure from the aroma.

Pours a juicy yellow, not sure this is intentional, heavy dregs here. There appears to be a stick settling to the bottom of my glass. Pleasant scent, tropical tones of pineapple and mango. Upon the tongue, sharper than expected, very citrus forward, feel is more acidic than soft. Finishes crisp. Overall, decent beer. Going to let that last sip go though. No desire to swallow a stick

From a 16oz can, dated 11/22/23. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a lightly hazed pineapple-gold with two-plus fingers of soft soapy suds. Retention is unremarkable but leaves a bubbly cap and a mostly solid sheet of sudsy lacing.
Nose is heavy and citrusy. Thick, earthy aroma of sticky orange.
Taste is lighter, drier, chalkier than anticipated. Floral, citrusy. Tasting orange juice, orange hard candies, soda cracker and yeast, orange blossoms and aspirin. Oily orange peel aftertaste.
Feeling is crisp and light - medium bodied but feeling lighter owing to fine, bright carbonation. Minor astringent pucker to finish, not a major flaw.
Overall, light and pleasant. Does that thing that Mast Landing does of thoroughly blurring the lines between APA and IPA, east coast and west coast.
