Collaboration with Vitamin Sea Brewing.
New England is home to many legends, and this time around we pay tribute to a real one: Paul Pierce. This triple dry hopped double IPA is the next entry in our series of alley-oops with @vitaminseabrewing.
Brewed with Idaho 7, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Vic Secret hops, the flavor profile on this one is The Truth.

Pours opaque orange gold color with a 2 finger off white head that settles to a dense silk. Aroma is pungent nectarine and earthiness. Flavor is similar with apricot and bitter orange pith up front that slowly reveals a earthy tinge in the finish. Feel is very soft and chewy even with a light to moderate bitterness. and light seltzer.
This is an odd tasting NEIPA with the abandonment of sweeter citrus flavors. The bitter pith flavor is strong in this, which is not necessarily bad for some taste buds, but you need to set your expectations ahead. It is a solid NEIPA that will satisfy some, not all.

A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a decent cap that leaves good lacing
S: Lots of citrus and tropical fruit up front along with some lighter floral notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and tropical fruit with moderate bitterness. Picks up some lighter floral hops with earthy undertones. Finishes with lingering citrus rind and lingering bitterness
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the softer side
O: A very good NE DIPA that packs a solid hop punch, especially with the triple dry hopping. Worth checking out
