Few Things are Certain, and we find comfort in those that are. The joyful refreshment of a classic pilsner will always inject warmth between the shadow and the soul.
Our latest entry in this style is hopped with Tettnaang and Saaz for snappy floral notes and citrusy effervescence, with a soft drinkability that will certainly have you returning to the glass.

Glorious pour - huge, pure white pillowy foam atop crystal clear golden liquid. Great lacing after falling to a thick rings and spotty islands. It's stunning in the glass.
The smell seems a bit subdued. It's a little floral, a little green herbaceousness, slightly earthy. There's a little bready malt holding up the floor and a meek lemon top note.
The taste is along the same lines with a spicy snap at the end and some mild lemon. It's ever so slightly sweet, but herbal/grassy/floral with earthiness and bready malt rule the taste bud roost. Mildly bitter finish. Peppery spice on the back end that approaches annoying territory as it lingers and builds in sharpness.
Light to medium bodied, fairly clean, and a bit beyond moderately carbonated.
Overall, it's a decent beer. Not quite as crisp as I'd like it to be. The spicy peppery thing is really becoming a distracting factor. In my opinion it could be a little better balanced.

This one pours a golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like snappy and crispy hop character, some herbal aromas, and breadiness.
This is a solid little pilsner for sure - I wasn't aware Mast Landing was good at this sort of thing. There's some light citrusy hop character, along with more typical herbal and spicy hops, and a light but present and supportive malt character.
This is light bodied, and very crisp, and very drinkable.
I liked this one much more than I thought I might like it.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a small patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral and lemon/orange citrus are present in the nose along with notes of bready malts.
T: The taste has flavors of floral hops with notes of grass/spicy hops and hints of bready malts. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer was a very good representation of a pilsener. The citrusy aromas in the smell seemed to be rather unique.
