Kind of a bland for a kolsch. Earthy and light citrus. Faint malts. Just light all around. I expect a bit more flavor from my kolsches.
It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Pours a slightly cloudy straw yellow, soapy 2" head that slowly tapers off with minimal lacing, lots of visible carbonation. Nose is nicely doughy and lemony, with light hints of noble hop and sweetness from the malts - in all, a very classic expression of the style. Taste is a let down - up front, flavor is very light, almost like a watered-down Weizen; there's an unpleasant soured, fermented, even savory element that follows, again with spicier (clove, baking) flavors outside the style. Mouthfeel is full and oily, while the finish leaves unpleasant alium notes. Looks good, smells better, but doesn't follow through on taste.
