08/04/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Clear gold with 1-2 finger frothy white head with good retention and solid bands of lacing.
S: Aroma is light intensity with tangerine, grapefruit, and orange with some light fruity esters.
T: Flavor is good and fruitier than the aroma with more strawberry and herbal honeysuckle to go along with the tangerine and orange notes. Also a lot of floral character with some orange slice candy in the finish and aftertaste. Bitterness is low.
M: Highly drinkable with light body, moderate carbonation, and lightly dry finish.
O: Mast Landing always delivers solid beers and this is a good beer but not exactly in my aroma or flavor wheelhouse with the floral-sweet fruity combination. Still enjoyable and would be great for those who like a fruity, low bitterness IPA with dry finish.

Firelight's Aglow
Mast Landing Brewing Co.
IPA - American
A very bright and earthy hop kick. Pale golden color with the light, grainy malt for balance compliments the dry citric and piney hop tones very well. The crispy snap and dry feel is a nice change of pace from the big fluffy NE style. Earthy, fruity fin.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a large head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving lots of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a grapefruit hop smell mixed with lots of tangerine and some tropical fruit notes of pineapple. Along with these smells comes a crisp crack malt aroma and a bit of apricot. Other aromas of a light floral and herbal nature and a touch of pepper are in there as well.
Taste – The taste starts off with a nice crisp cracker malt that is paired with a touch of tangerine and apricot as well as lots of grapefruit hop. As the taste advances the grapefruit gets a bit stronger, and is joined by flavors of a floral nature. A touch of grain and a hint of herb come on at the end, and with a light lemongrass and white pepper coming on at the very end, one is left with a nice crisp and citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level. For the crisp and clean flavors the feel is quite nice and makes for a very easy sipper.
Overall – A nice clean and crisp drinking IPA. Quite nice.

Can. Looks like natural honey with ring and island. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on appearance because my dishwasher is broken and I can't get my glasses perfectly clean. Honey toffee fruity melon and light pine aroma. Toffee honey sweetness with a hint of butterscotch (diacetyl?) which the first NEIPAs used to have. Pine and citrus finish. Medium body slick and oily, which might be affected by the glass. Anyhow. Excellent beer.
