Sanctuary IPA is a bold and accessible landmark for our expansion as we build a new path in the Mast Landing story. Citra, Rakau, El Dorado, and Strata hops bring notes of mango, pineapple, lime, and red berries with a smooth, full body.

It’s a murky, brownish orange, with muddy straw highlights. The giant off white head is foamy and gradually turns to seafoam as it settles for 2.5”, never dissipating while leaving a big pillow in the middle of the glass and thick patches of lace.
The Strangebird IPA glass sends up lots of sweet ripe mango, mixed with lite pine. Meanwhile, the pineapple is mild.
The juiciness of this one cannot be over stated. It has a fresh sweet/bitter balance that seems mild at fish, only to build with time. Mango is the stand-out with mild pineapple mixed with mild lime, though all are more mild than in the aroma. That bitterness starts to numb the young and gums midway through. The finish is medium to strong and moderately long, basically carrying the flavors forward.
It has a surprisingly light body, and a texture similar to satin. Residual sugar, on the lips, is evidence that the sweetness is higher than otherwise perceived. Carbonation is nice, mild and fizzy. There is a mild mineral quality.
This is a pleasant Autumnal IPA, all be it a hazy one. It almost matches the leaves on one of our remaining maple trees. It is relaxed and calming.

Canned on 3/15/22 opened and reviewed on 4/9/22.Batch #7.
That thick cloudy, milky appearance within the burnt golden color and fluffy white cap. Lots of lace.
A heady aroma of dense hops: Citra ^ Rakau ^ El Dorado has huge fruity notes, thick mango, sweet citrus, red berry tropical blend with a soft, peppery kick in the nose too.
Smooth AF, no silky and full bodied feeling, fresh and fun. The mouth feel is beyond exceptional.
The flavor is wildly complex and full of various hop colors. Big fruits, earthy pepper, soft malted golden grains and tangy berries. Righteous stuff.
Mast Landing has been in my top three breweries for the last few years due to their absolutely exceptional IPA's. The ball is clearly still rolling.

On tap @defiant records. Murkiness off the charts, but she's no looker. Barely any head whatsoever, actually appears flat but is not. Fortunately smells delicious and tastes delicious-er. Lots of mango and pineapple as stated. Had a couple of these with a clean palate to start and enjoyed both thoroughly.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade.
Hazy murky lemon yellow with a decent sized head that slowly recedes. Earthy grassy bitter citrus and stone fruits with a faint bread to counter.
