DDH Double India Pale Ale
Filled with the glow of another beautiful day in Maine - Vibes that can't be beaten, and a beer to celebrate them with. Motueka and Mosaic hops bring the brightness, with Centennial and Chinook rounding out a burst of flavor to bring the sun out in all of us.

It looks like a hazy New England IPA but is more yellow than orange. Head is white and small with a somewhat short retention. It looks very good but isn't unique enough in appearance to be rated higher.
The smell is savory and tropical with an abundance of pineapple and some mango, maybe a bit of tart cherry and lime. A hint of grassyness makes it into the sent as well.
Taste has a large amount of hop presence but is not bitter. The smooth and velvety texture stands out after first taking a sip. The dank nature of this beer is a large part of the tatse at first and then it starts to taste like orange juice before transition into more of a tropical yellow punch taste. Might have some papaya notes as well. Very good tatse wise. A good amount of astringency resides after each sip.
Texture is the best part of this beer. It's soft, silky, velvety, medium heavy, and not over done (you won't feel like your drinking bread). It's perfect for hazy IPA's mouth feel/texture. Flume may be it's only competition here.
Overall: Without a doubt in the top 3 IPA's Mastlanding makes. Definitely worth a try and having at least once durring the summer.

Solid DIPA. Definitely lots of varying hop characteristics ( tropical, citrus, spicy) backed by an obvious malt backbone. It's called Day Glow Vibes, but I'd stick with just 1 during the day.

Got a pint at the Bike Bar in downtown Ithaca today. Poured a very turbid white orange with head subsiding quickly. Not very thorough lacing.
Smells real fine, of complex four hops doubly dry hopped and thoroughly hoppifying the >8% ABV.
Bittering gently robing the almost hidden malts. Oat and wheat in here, maybe? Good lingering happy aftertaste.
Carbonation just right, so I was surprised how fast the head collapsed; cushy mouthfeel.
Glad to have met this new brewery making its way to Ithaca NY!

A: Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves good lacing
S: Lots of tropical fruit up front along with some lighter citrus, stone fruit, and pine
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of tropical fruit, stone fruit, and pine. Picks up the citrus and a lighter earthy undertone. Light bitterness. Finishes with lingering stone fruit and pine
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth
O: A great DDH DIPA that is super easy to drink. Good hop combo (motueka, mosaic, chinook, and centennial) that essentially gives a classic c-hop vibe to a NE IPA. Worth checking out

Day Glow.. This is an excellent beer. I was pleasantly surprised. It's thick and juicy with apricot undertones and a fresh mouth feel. Lots of hops and solid mouth feel. I will recommend this to our customers for sure. A solid unfiltered Double IPA.
