Dessert is served! This recipe debuted as a draft special at Gunner's Daughter Day in 2021, and returns in full form one year later. With all the toasty goodness of graham cracker and marshmallow joining the rich, nutty base of Gunner's Daughter, it's the perfect treat for a sweet tooth that still wants a stout in a compact, drinkable package.

L: Pours a clear, cola-colored brew. Forms a thick, fluffy khaki head which is slow to dissipate. Held to the light, this beer has a pitch-black hue.
S: Deliciously sweet, with graham cracker, cacao nibs, lactose, and a dash of brown sugar.
T: Follows the nose - graham cracker, baker's chocolate, roasted malts, and lactose. Real nice flavor, but thinner than I'd hoped. Avoids being categorized as cloying even as the sweetness overwhelms any bitter/roasted flavor from the malts.
T: Thin, light mouthfeel that is the beer's sole weak spot. Understand the intent but this feels even thinner than a comparable milk stout.
O: The 5.5% ABV and the body really hurt what is otherwise a tremendously flavored stout base. Add about 4%, keep the flavor, thicken the body and this beer will elevate far higher.
