Poured a black body with minimal khaki head. The aroma has notes of chocolate along with "hot caramel topping" and kind of reminds me of peanut butter as well. Smooth yet thick and sticky, stickiness coming from caramel, there is a dry cocoa sweetness along with some vanilla to add balance and then get a slightly salty, nutty finish to act as a counterpoint to the mild sweetness. Well-balanced beer that delivers multiple flavors but none of them are overpowering.

From the bottom of the can: "FBATCH 3 CANNED ON 11/02/23 1645"

Appearance: It is a black bodied beer with a creamy textured short tan head. The head fizzles and pops some but it manages to stay up pretty well. The beer leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: The aroma of chocolate comes through at first, then there is this peanut aroma that joins in. It has a bit of a caramel scent. It smells a bit like when you open a Payday candy bar, except it has a bit of a chocolate scent. It isn't quite a Baby Ruth smell but it's close. Mostly peanut dominates the nose.

Taste: It tastes like marshmallows up front, with a pretty strong vanilla flavor that cuts through what would otherwise just be chocolate. The chocolate flavor up front is a bit like a milk chocolate. The flavor stays pretty consistent but it turns more into a mellow milk chocolate flavor towards the middle of the palate. Towards the back there is a light bitter character which is a bit like a mild coffee roast. The light roast and a milky flavor persist in the aftertaste, giving it a bit of a mellow breakfast coffee flavor.

Mouthfeel: It is medium bodied and it floats up and down from there depending on the sip. There is a mellow bitterness from the grain which works well with the beer.

Overall: It's a fantastic beer. The label states that it is a "MILK STOUT WITH VANILLA BEANS, COCOA, CARAMEL, SALT & NATURAL FLAVORS." All of these advertised characters come through in either the aroma or the flavor. The vanilla flavor is really impressive because it gives the beer this marshmallow character up front which I don't often taste. It is possible that the natural flavors included peanuts because it has a strong peanut aroma. I would definitely buy it again and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys peanuts, candy, or marshmallows.

On bottom of can: batch 4: canned on 11/28/23.
L - poured black with a three-finger, thick mocha head which retained throughout. Decent lacing.
S - chocolate/cocoa and vanilla wafer right from the can. Very unique and nice.
T - follows the nose closely. What a mix!
F - medium mouth feel and pretty smooth. Slightly dry finish.
O - it’s like not even drinking a beer, with all the flavors going on. My goodness, I liked this!

Appearance: Aluminum pint can with a stick-on label that has clipart of vanilla beans, caramel, peanuts, and cocoa beans. Poured into a stout glass after letting it warm up on the kitchen counter for about 10 minutes. Super dark brown with 3/4 centimeter of dirty brown head. It was one of those beers that looked thick even as it was being poured.

Aroma: Reese's Peanut Butte Cup

Taste: Milk chocolate, peanut butter, cream. Like liquid carbonated peanut butter cups.

Feel: Medium-low carbonation. Thin and sugary-sticky.

Overall: It's exactly what you should expect when you buy a beer that says "candy bar" on the label. Its rich sweetness is great by itself for the first few sips but soon desires to be balanced with something else.

Pairing: It went great with chocolate cake. It took the cake to the next level by basically turning it into a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting.

I’m a fan of the Gunner’s Daughter and this version is even better.

Full chocolate brown color with a 4F head in a Tulip. I started cold.

Strong aroma of nuts, some vanilla.

MF is very smooth.

The taste carries from the aroma with more cocoa, vanilla, and caramel which seems like it has peanut taste.

Smooth finish.

Excellent beer.
