Pours a wonderful pale copper with a one finger tight white head. Nose is huge with lots of melon, dank citrus and onions. Taste follows the nose with melon, guava, citrus, a faint onion and then a pale soft malt. Body is light to medium with similar carbonation. Ends dry with a lingering grapefruit. Overall a nice local pale with a big aroma.

Picked up a single pint can. Date on can: 07/17/24.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger thick of frothy white head on top. Head retention is decent, eventually subsiding to a thin, creamy layer of lacing that coats the glass as you drink. Carbonation looks to be lower than average with a few sporadic bubbles rising up. Looks to be quite refreshing.
Aroma is quite pungent with notes of guava, blueberry, melon, citrus and a light, buttery honey maltiness to round it out. There's a bit of an herbal dankness in there as well. Quite fresh considering it's age.
Wow, flavor is likewise quite pungent. Pine and guava up front with blueberry and citrus coming in towards the middle and into the swallow. There is a lovely light honey and cracker maltiness throughout providing just the right amount of balance. After the swallow there is a subtle grapefruit pith and honey left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate carbonation that provides a bit of zest on the swallow. It drinks smooth and creamy and finishes crisp and dry. Highly drinkable and quite refreshing.
I really like this one. This is my second beer from this brewery, the first being their IPA, and I think I like this even better than that one. This is an instant fridge beer for me if I can get it reliably. Lots of flavor and complexity combined with a balanced flavor profile while being quite drinkable with a crisp finish and lower ABV makes this a winner for me. I'll have another, please and thank you. Cheers!

Piney citrus without being too bitter. Cool. But it starts to feel a little too orange juicy.

An absolutely stellar modern take on the west coast pale ale. Clean and clear from the look, aroma, and flavor. Old school pine and citrus bitterness is in the game as well as fruity and gassy notes from more modern aroma hops. And it's all laid over a super lean malt bill that's just bold enough to support everything but doesn't intrude into the 'hop tea' like feel of the thing. This is a beer you could hold up as an exemplar of wc ipa in California in the 2020s
Crystal clear steaw capped with a lovely head of white foam.
Rich aroma of guava, pineapple, and honey malt
Taste has sharp pine up front with a nice diesely Blueberry hit of Mosaic in the middle that leaves a lingering passion fruit bitterness on the palate. Excellent display of the moder west coast ipa that has integrated the new aroma hops without abandoning the clean bitterness that defines the style.
Hits the palate hard and leaves it clean.

Pours golden transparent with nice white cap and smooth ale notes with prickly tickle carbonation - easy drinking and clean pale ale! Nice happy hour draft at Joey.

I’m not exactly sure where to go with this one. Initial opinion is that it is one note. No, this is not a Paganini beer that is rocking a Victorian concert hall. The good part is is that there really isn’t anything offputting about it. Still, it’s kind of bland like a beaver that has only eaten the same type of tree his entire life (variety is the spice of life)! And there ain’t nothin’ “spicy” about this beer. Placid like your high school librarian who recommended you Dickens - yeah, Ima pass on that.
*This bad sucker actually got a lil better as it warmed. Still one note and pretty dry, but tasty enough.

L: A clear golden-yellow with a minimal amount of white head.
S: Very dank hoppiness
T: the same dank hoppiness with a flavor and aftertaste that (I swear!) tastes like nachos with a hint of salsa. Interesting. But not quite what I was expecting from a pale ale?
