American IPA with an American hop character with citrusy, floral, piney or fruity aspects. Medium-high to very-high hop bitterness, although the malt backbone will support the strong hop character and provide the best balance.

First off want to thank Charity fro some beers from her Gulf Coast trip. Secondly open this one over a sink its a gusher and over carbonated. Thirdly can't find any dates so on bottle so who knows the age. Pours a deep amber color with a four finger monster off white colored head.
Aroma is some what muted tropical fruits some earthy herbal notes riding on a good caramel base.
Taste isn't bad nice malt flavors caramel honey sweetness I like the base. Hops are a mixture tropical fruit lightly but danker over ripe citrus lingering bitterness is more pine resin and herbal hints. Taste has much more going on then the nose.
Mouthfeel is medium but carbonation level on this batch is just too much can assume this is not normal, at least I would not hope it was what the brewers were trying for.
Overall the nose isn't great actual taste really isn't bad , the over carbonation a mistake. Wouldn't mind trying it again to see how its suppose to be but really the flavors pretty good.

Harking back to the classic IPA, before the haze, before the juicy, before the cereal laden body of trendy IPA, there was a bitter beer with a firm malt backbone to satisfy the taste for hop heads. This is such a beer.
Pouring a hazy deep honey amber hue, Karma Driven crowns with a creamy off white cap. Rounding the nose with citrus, pine, caramel and toasty sweet scents remiss of pecan. Sweet on the early palate, its caramel, honey, biscuit, granola medley offers a medium malt impression at first.
As the malt sweetness and toasty remnants begin to retreat, the hops build upon the grains with the classic taste of orange peel followed by pink grapefruit. Trending bitter with a grassy, piney and stemmy taste, the resins of hops continue to dry the late palate while its peppery bitterness continues to tighten.
Medium bodied and carrying an old school Midwest type of balance, the ale trends malty dry with that bitter grip growing into a deep aftertaste of hops that far outlasts the malt.

Tasted from a 12 oz bottle.
L - A deep copper color and extremely clear. Head is off-white, thick and rocky, with lots of lacing.
S - Strong hop aroma is a mix of earthy, herbal and tropical fruit notes. Some low bready malt in the background. Hops aromas are not super assertive, I might guess this was a pale ale, not an IPA, based on the nose.
T - Strong, bitter hops flavors are pungent and earthy/herbal, like the nose. They seem British to me, making this more like a British IPA, but with stronger bitterness than would be typical. Some low malt in the finish, which is fairly dry.
F - Medium body. Full carbonation. Strong hops bitterness. No alcohol presence.
O - This strikes me as an OK British-leaning pale ale or IPA, but it's not inspiring or overly memorable.

Poured from tap into shaker, nice 1 finger creamy head, nice lacing. Reddish hue, crystal clear, nice looking beer. Smells slightly of citrus, mainly of sweet malt. Taste pretty much like it smells. You get the malt up front and a hint of citrus, and it has a nice non dry finish. This is a great ipa.
