From a 12 oz bottle into a Perfect Pint glass, it’s a hazy straw yellow color with a small head of tight white bubbles that fades at a slow pace leaving a solid collar and a thin sheet. Small amounts of precipitating carbonation. Nose is on the sweet side with subtle honey and bready malt and maybe some fruit, like scuppernong. Tastes more bitter than it smells, with a sort of lemony semi-sweet ice tea flavor with some fairly assertive moderately bitter hops with a bit of a dry, nutty finish. Mouthfeel is solid, effervescent and quenching. Not too bad but nothing special overall, would try again.

An ok blonde ale, a little sweetness over the bready malt base.

Pale gold pour with small white head that disappeared quickly leaving no cap, ring or lace; excellent clarity. Smells like a Stroh’s. Tastes like a hoppy lager; lite DMS; floral finish. Light body, light carbonation. Very unimpressive.
