Poured to a BrewDog snifter.
A: Body is yellow with crystalline sharpness, showing a one inch thick white head that presents proper retention.
S: The aroma is not the freshest, as it appears that even the sweet tones have faded away from what you'd expect of a Belgian Blonde Ale. This beer should be fresh according to the seller but there's no way for me to confirm it.
T: It starts with a mildly sweet tone of citrus that has more bitterness of citrus peel into it than the actual sweetness, then moves on to a bitter tone where the bitterness of the fruit and the bitterness of hops come together forming a pleasant and crisp finish.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is pretty good. Alcohol is unnoticeable. Sweetness is unexpectedly low and bitterness is higher than what it should.
O: Though Oitava Colina makes great beers, this is not one hell of a beer - or simply it isn't fresh.
