Pesetero is a one-off beer from Oitava Colina containing dried figs.
Poured into a BrewDog snifter.
A: Body is dark brown with some grey hues, creating a light beige to yellow colored head with not much retention.
S: The aroma is rich with notes of blueberries, licquour-y and sweet tones topped with a light milk chocolate accent.
T: Taste starts off with some mild sweetness which seems to come more from the malts than from fruit used. The second part of the sip is a bit harsh on the palate as there's some imbalance to the bitterness of the beer as it walks in uncharted territory for me.
M: Body is high. Carbonation is medium. Alcohol is barely unnoticeable. Bitterness is harsh.
O: Not a fan but I guess that using fresh figs would've made the difference.
