Pours a pale straw color with an instantly dissipating head. No visible carbonation or lacing.
The aroma and taste are both comprised of green apples and vinegar. Perhaps infected? Acetaldehyde? More tolerable in aroma, however, the taste is just off; unacceptably sour.
Light, crisp and dry, however, due to the off taste it is not drinkable.
Not good. 4-5 sips maybe then I was done.

BOTTLE: Purchased at a Vero supermarket in Skopje. Brown glass. Branded yellow pry-off crown cap. Simple generic label. 33cl format. Expires 23.06.16.
4.50% ABV.
Regrettably brief notes below:
HEAD: ~8cm wide. Off-white colour. Billowing and fluffy, with fair frothiness and creaminess. Average complexion. Leaves no lacing on the sides of the glass as it recedes.
BODY: Clear pale copper of average vibrance. Clean, with no visible yeast particulate within.
Appears well-carbonated. It's a pretty typical pilsner appearance. Not unique or special.
AROMA: Pilsner malts. That's it...I don't even pick up on any grassy hop character or anything. Clean lager yeast attenuation is evident given the absence of any esters at all.
Aromatic intensity is low.
Suggests a very basic no-frills example of the style with no obvious problems (e.g. metallic off-flavours, buttery diacetyl off-flavour, etc.).
TASTE: Cleanly attenuating lager yeast left no esters in its wake as it ate up the sugars from the pilsner malts used in this brew. There's no Saaz or Noble hop flavour, nor is the pilsner malt body particularly deep or expressive. It's extremely simple and basic, with no subtlety or nuance whatsoever. Just a shallow straightforward pilsner with limited flavour.
TEXTURE: Overcarbonated but still somewhat refreshing. Smooth, wet, light-bodied, and of average heft and weight on the palate for the style. There's not a perfect harmony of texture and taste here, but at least it isn't buttery or boozy.
OVERALL: To its credit, it's off-flavour free and has no egregious issues. But its cheap taste and absence of flavour will make it unappealing to discerning drinkers. Another unremarkable Macedonian supermarket brew, albeit a drinkable one.
