Vacationing in the Balkans can be frustrating to craft beer lovers given the limited selection of commercial lagers.
This brewpub fills the void and hopefully is the beginning of a new scene. Thus far the first and only microbrewery in Macedonia. They have about 20 tap lines with a selection of IPAs, porters, stouts, Belgian ales etc; i.e. stuff that I couldn't previously find in my many years coming here. (My wife is Macedonian) Decent traditional Balkan food that pairs well with beer. (Get the kebapi)
Food service very slow as is the culture here. However, I hung out with Vase (unsure of spelling) the brewmaster who was a cool guy, gave me a tour of the brewery and seems to know his stuff. I hope this brewery lasts.
